Guatemala Missions Trip 2019

Location: Xevitz, Guatemala

Host: Food for the Hungry

Dates: Saturday July 27- Sunday August 4, 2019

Cost: $1975 per person

Project: The local school is crowded and in disrepair. We will work to begin building a sport court to provide needed space for more kids. An ecological stove project is also an option.

Ministry: We will plan character lessons, interactive games and sports for the children and youth.

Sponsorship: Those that are interested in adopting a child for sponsorship through FH will have the opportunity to visit their sponsor child and its family.

Through a church community partnership, BG4 has embarked on a multi-year community development project with the Ixil people of Xevitz, in partnership with Food for the Hungry. Through child sponsorships and teams involved in work projects and ministry to children, we aim to build long-term relationship that will provide hope and practical help with the goal of addressing the factors that contribute to systemic poverty. We invite you to consider joining this BG4 team as we seek and engage in holistic community transformation, knowing we will be transformed as well.

With estimated 5,000 people migrating to norther Baja, Mexico, needs continue to grow. Many are looking for work opportunities to improve their lives, yet their uncertain arrival stretches the infrastructure capacity of this rapidly growing region. YWAM and HOH are committed to supporting the regions growth and development by assisting homeless families. Many are living in cardboard or wood pallet homes, which leaves them exposed to the elements. Would you consider joining this BG4 team to bring help, hope, and shelter by building a home for a family in need this spring?
